1.1. History and Market Development of VinFast Hai Phong Factory
VinFast was founded in 2017, with its manufacturing plant in the Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone in Hai Phong inaugurated on June 14, 2019. Covering 335 hectares and with a total investment of $3.5 billion, this factory is one of the most significant industrial projects in Vietnam.
VinFast Hai Phong produces a range of vehicles, including the VinFast Lux SA 2.0 SUV and the VinFast Lux A 2.0 sedan, and has also expanded into electric motorcycles like Klara, Ludo, Feliz, and the VinBus electric bus. This expansion underscores VinFast’s commitment to innovation and leadership in the global electric vehicle market.
VinFast has targeted five strategic markets: the USA, Canada, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The company has also expanded operations in Los Angeles, USA, as of November 16, 2021, to strengthen its global presence and engage international customers.
Vingroup continues to invest in key projects like the Vines Cell Battery Manufacturing Plant at Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh, and the automotive parts manufacturing complex in Mong Cai, Quang Ninh, to secure essential core technologies in the automotive sector.

2. TCID – Proud Supplier of Forklift Systems to VinFast Hai Phong
